Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems at construction sites. The role ensures all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
- Perform electrical installations for residential and commercial projects.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Repair electrical faults and replace damaged components.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety standards are followed.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction teams.
- Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Report material requirements and daily work progress to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety policies and electrical regulations.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician Trade or equivalent (Preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in real estate or construction projects.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, fittings, panels, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use electrical testing equipment.
- Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
