Plant Operator / Production In-Charge
Role Description
Rohit Exergy India Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and experienced Plant Operator (Production & Maintenance) to join our biomass pellet manufacturing facility located at MG Road Industrial Area, Masuri Gulawathi, District Hapur (Near Dasna, Ghaziabad).
As one of the founding members of our production team, you will play a critical role in operating the complete biomass pellet manufacturing plant, maximizing production efficiency, maintaining machinery, and ensuring smooth day-to-day plant operations.
You will also receive direct OEM training during plant installation and commissioning, providing a unique opportunity to develop expertise in modern biomass pellet manufacturing technology and grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the complete biomass pellet manufacturing plant.
- Maximize production output by optimizing machine capacity, process efficiency, and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor product quality and ensure smooth production operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, inspection, adjustment, replacement of wear parts, and routine machine upkeep.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues independently.
- Supervise plant helpers and ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
- Maintain production records while ensuring safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.
Preferred Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing or process industries.
- Experience in Biomass Pellet Plants, Briquette Plants, Feed Mills, Rice Mills, Flour Mills, Wood Processing, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, PLC-operated machinery, or automated production lines will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery, production optimization, and preventive maintenance.
Preferred Qualification
- ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with strong hands-on industrial experience are encouraged to apply even if they do not possess the above qualifications.
