Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all components align effectively. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to understanding the evolving data landscape and supporting the architecture to meet organizational needs, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues to maintain system reliability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance data platform performance and scalability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience with data modeling and schema design within cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of data warehouse queries.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to data storage and access control.
- Ability to work with various data ingestion tools and technologies to support data pipelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
