Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Fresher) with 1–2 years of experience in assembly plant operations and hydraulic systems manufacturing/assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day assembly line operations and manpower allocation.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of targets.
- Oversee hydraulic system assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and planning departments for smooth operations.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production and quality issues.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, rejection data, and downtime logs.
- Train operators and technicians on assembly processes and safety practices.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement activities such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.
- Ensure proper handling of hydraulic components, tools, and testing equipment.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of assembly line operations and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, cylinders, and fittings.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and flow schematics.
- Experience in production planning and manpower handling.
- Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen concepts.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly plant, or machine assembly industry.
Academic Requirements:
· 12th Grade: 80%
· 10th Grade: 80%
· College CGPA: 8.0
