Role purpose
Develop, test, package, and deploy backend components of the C2 system, including sensor connectors, data pipelines, service APIs, persistence, and operational tooling.
Key responsibilities
- Develop backend services for sensor data ingestion, validation, normalisation, event processing, tracking, alerting, reporting, and system administration.
- Implement and maintain connectors/adapters for Radar, Acoustic, RF, and EO/IR inputs using documented or proprietary protocols.
- Build REST/gRPC/WebSocket APIs for frontend and third-party-system integration.
- Design database schemas, migrations, indexes, retention policies, and backup/restore mechanisms.
- Develop real-time pipelines using message queues, streams, caches, and asynchronous processing.
- Containerize services and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment manifests, configuration templates, and environment documentation.
- Add unit, component, and integration tests; support SDET automation and defect investigation.
- Instrument services with structured logging, metrics, traces, health checks, and alerting.
- Support test, UAT, and field deployment activities as required.
Required experience and skills
- 1-3 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Go, Java, or equivalent.
- Experience with FastAPI/Django/Flask or comparable frameworks; PostgreSQL; Redis; Docker; Linux; Git; and CI/CD.
- Practical knowledge of TCP/UDP, REST/gRPC, WebSocket, JSON/Protobuf, message queues, and networking diagnostics.
- Experience with sensor protocols, RTSP/video metadata, time-series data, or high-throughput data processing is preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
