About the role:
Starlabs Technologies is looking for a talented and motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our growing tech team. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the backend team to design, build, and maintain APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Develop scalable and efficient server-side applications
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared learning and quality improvements
- Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed
- Work with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Support deployment and testing activities across various environments
- Contribute to an agile development process through sprint planning and stand-ups
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Python programming
- Familiarity with FastAPI or willingness to learn quickly
- Basic knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, fast-moving team
- Passion for backend development and a strong desire to learn
- Understanding of version control tools like Git
- Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Prior experience in academic or personal backend projects is a plus
- Familiarity with ORMs (like SQLAlchemy) or cloud platforms is an added advantage
Pay: ₹337,836.89 - ₹1,632,963.98 per year
