Responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of all plumbing and water supply systems in the hotel, ensuring uninterrupted water supply, proper drainage, and quick resolution of guest and operational complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend plumbing complaints from guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Repair water leakage from pipes, taps, valves, toilets, wash basins, showers, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain hot and cold water supply systems throughout the hotel.
- Inspect and maintain water tanks, pumps, pipelines, valves, and drainage systems.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plumbing equipment and systems.
- Clear blocked drains, toilets, sinks, and sewage lines.
- Maintain bathroom and sanitary fixtures in guest rooms and public areas.
- Assist in the maintenance of swimming pool, kitchen, laundry, and other hotel plumbing systems where applicable.
- Check and maintain hot-water systems, boilers, and associated pipelines as assigned.
- Carry out pipe cutting, threading, fitting, joining, and replacement work.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues, including major leaks and water-supply failures.
- Coordinate with other engineering staff for maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in work areas and ensure minimal disturbance to guests.
- Record completed maintenance work and report major faults to the Engineering Supervisor.
- Follow hotel safety, hygiene, fire-safety, and work-permit procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional service when working in guest areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 1–5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of hotel water supply, drainage, sewage, and sanitary systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing tools, pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and fixtures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing problems quickly.
- Good communication and guest-service skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
