Kibitz International Rehabilitation Centre is looking for a passionate and skilled Fitness Trainer / Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering structured, evidence-based exercise and strength & conditioning programs for athletes, rehabilitation clients, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals working toward improved physical performance and functional capacity.
The role involves exercise prescription, strength and conditioning, performance development, movement training, client monitoring, and collaboration with physiotherapists, sports scientists, doctors, nutritionists, and other rehabilitation professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client fitness, movement, functional, and performance assessments.
- Design and implement individualized strength, conditioning, fitness, and performance programs.
- Conduct one-to-one and small-group training sessions.
- Develop training programs to improve strength, power, speed, agility, endurance, mobility, balance, coordination, and movement quality.
- Work with athletes on sport-specific physical preparation and performance enhancement.
- Support rehabilitation and return-to-performance programs under the guidance of the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist clients in progressing safely from rehabilitation to functional training and performance.
- Coach proper exercise technique, movement mechanics, posture, breathing, and equipment use.
- Plan appropriate warm-up, activation, conditioning, recovery, and cool-down protocols.
- Monitor training loads, exercise tolerance, performance, and client progress.
- Maintain accurate training records and document client progress.
- Modify programs based on assessment findings, goals, performance, and recovery status.
- Implement injury-prevention and prehabilitation strategies within the scope of practice.
- Educate clients regarding exercise, recovery, mobility, physical preparation, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Work closely with physiotherapists, sports scientists, sports medicine professionals, nutritionists, and other members of the rehabilitation team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, professional, and motivating training environment.
- Ensure appropriate use, maintenance, and safety of gym and performance equipment.
- Stay updated with current evidence-based practices in strength & conditioning, exercise science, sports performance, and rehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in Strength & Conditioning or Personal/Fitness Training is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of resistance training, conditioning, functional training, mobility, and exercise programming.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports performance principles.
- Strong coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare and performance team.
- CPR/First Aid certification will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹8,800.50 - ₹20,545.14 per month
