About the Role
The House of Cosmos is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
* Manage complete books of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations.
* Maintain accurate financial records in Tally Prime and other accounting software.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Finalize books of accounts and support year-end closing activities.
Taxation & Compliance
* Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
* Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and applicable financial regulations.
* Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
Banking & Cash Management
* Perform daily bank reconciliations.
* Monitor cash flow and maintain proper fund management.
* Handle RTGS, NEFT, cheque processing, and banking transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Manage vendor payments and customer receivables.
* Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
* Monitor outstanding payments and follow up where required.
Payroll & MIS Reporting
* Process monthly payroll and statutory deductions.
* Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports.
* Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Audit & Documentation
* Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records.
* Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits.
* Ensure all accounting processes comply with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
* Expertise in Tally Prime.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance.
* Experience in financial reporting and finalization of accounts.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.
* Experience handling complete accounting operations independently is mandatory.
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
