Position Summary
The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and deliver individualized physiotherapy interventions to children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions. The role requires working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals and actively involving parents in achieving functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, strength, endurance, and functional mobility.
- Plan goal-oriented therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Modify treatment plans according to clinical outcomes.
- Conduct reassessments at scheduled intervals.
Pediatric Intervention
Provide intervention for children with:
- Developmental Delay
- Cerebral Palsy
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Down Syndrome
- ADHD
- Genetic Disorders
- Neuromuscular Conditions
- Orthopedic Conditions
- Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Gait Abnormalities
- Balance and Coordination Difficulties
Therapy Techniques
Use appropriate evidence-based techniques including:
- Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)
- Functional Training
- Balance Training
- Strengthening Exercises
- Range of Motion Exercises
- Gait Training
- Mobility Training
- Postural Control
- Core Stability Training
- Stretching
- Gross Motor Development
- Functional Play-based Therapy
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT)
- Registration with the State Physiotherapy Council or other applicable professional body, where required.
Experience
- 1–5 years of pediatric physiotherapy experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong clinical knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
