Description – Technical Lead(Azure Data Technologies)
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a minimum of 10 years of overall experience, including strong expertise in Azure Data Technologies, team leadership, solution architecture, and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical depth in data engineering along with proven experience in managing teams, client communication, and driving enterprise data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics projects using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud data solutions on Azure.
- Manage technical teams, allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure timely project execution.
- Interact with clients/business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Define architecture, best practices, governance, and coding standards for data platforms.
- Mentor developers, engineers, and analysts on technical and functional aspects.
- Oversee migration of on-premise data systems to Azure cloud environments.
- Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Conduct regular project status reviews, risk assessments, and technical discussions.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Good knowledge of Azure Databricks.
- Experience with Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and performance tuning.
- Strong ETL/ELT development experience.
- Knowledge of Power BI reporting and dashboard integration.
- Experience in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and deployment processes in Azure.
- Good knowledge of Python / SQL / Shell scripting is preferred.

- Experience in client-facing roles and offshore/onshore coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Azure Certifications are preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT, with significant experience in Azure Data technologies and team management.
