1. Need Assessment & Approval
- Identify the vacancy: Expansion, succession planning, or replacement.
- Justify the position based on:
- Service volume (ROs/month)
- CSI score decline
- Audit results or performance gaps
- Take approval from Dealer Principal (DP) to begin hiring.
2. Define Role & Job Description (JD)
Position: GM – Service
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in automobile after-sales service, including 5+ years in a leadership role (GM, Service).
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
Age Range: 35 to 50 years preferred
Reporting To: Dealer Principal / MD
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage entire after-sales operations (workshop, body-shop, CRM, parts coordination)
- Improve CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)
- Control TAT, productivity, and efficiency
- Ensure Hyundai service SOP & audit compliance
- Lead a large team (advisors, technicians, CRM, drivers)
- Coordinate with Hyundai Service Field Teams
- Handle escalated complaints and high-value customer grievances
- Conduct daily performance reviews and monthly planning
Salary: ₹70,000 to ₹80,000/month (based on capability) + Incentives + Allowances.
