We seek a highly qualified Sanskrit scholar to help establish the foundational philosophical, educational, and research framework of the organization.
Role Overview
We are looking for an intellectually strong Sanskrit researcher who possesses deep academic and traditional understanding of Sanskrit literature, Vedas, Vedangas, Vyakarana, and Indian Knowledge Systems.
The selected volunteer will serve as a core knowledge contributor, helping connect Guru Vandanam's multidisciplinary team with authentic Sanskrit sources and Vedic principles relevant to conscious human development.
Essential QualificationsMandatory
- Ph.D. in Sanskrit (Completed or Thesis Submitted)
- M.Phil. in Sanskrit
- Master's Degree (Acharya/M.A.) in Sanskrit
- Strong understanding of Sanskrit grammar (Vyakarana)
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze original Sanskrit texts
- Research experience in Sanskrit studies, Vedic literature, or Indian Knowledge Systems
Preferred
- UGC-NET qualification
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience in Vedas, Upanishads, Vedangas, Darshanas, Yoga, or traditional knowledge systems
- Experience presenting research at national or international seminars
- Ability to work collaboratively with professionals from education, psychology, architecture, technology, and social development domains
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep research on Vedic and Sanskrit sources relevant to human development.
- Help identify authentic scriptural references for organizational frameworks.
- Guide the development of research papers, concept notes, and knowledge documents.
- Assist in building a Veda-aligned framework for prenatal education, child development, character formation, and societal contribution.
- Support interdisciplinary teams in understanding Sanskrit terminology and traditional concepts.
- Review and validate content from a Sanskrit and Vedic perspective.
- Contribute to the long-term intellectual foundation of Guru Vandanam.
