Functional Configuration Consultant
Job Summary
The Functional Configuration Consultant is responsible for translating business and warehouse requirements into Manhattan system configuration. The role supports design workshops, configuration setup, testing, issue analysis, and knowledge transfer to business and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into Manhattan WMS/Active configuration
- Support design workshops, configuration reviews, and functional validation
- Maintain configuration documents and support test preparation
- Analyse defects and recommend process or configuration improvements
- Support go-live readiness and handover to client/support teams
Experience Required
- Manhattan Associates WMS configuration experience
- Good understanding of logistics processes and best practice
- WMS knowledge, Manhattan Active understanding, and MA platform knowledge
- Experience of automated warehousing
- Experience of 3rd party logistics integration
- Knowledge of JSON, APIs, and integration concepts
- Postman, GIT, Azure, and GCP awareness
- Good communication skills
- Logical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to lead mixed capability teams, providing direction and coaching
- Degree in Information Technology/Engineering or relevant equivalent experience
