Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, developing 3D models, supporting product development, and collaborating with manufacturing and project teams to ensure high-quality designs.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Develop assembly drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on engineering requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis where required.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision records.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical/product design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or assembly design is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
