Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Project Sales Engineer will identify and pursue project opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle for pumping and fluid engineering solutions. Daily responsibilities include engaging with clients, consultants, and contractors; conducting site visits and need assessments; and recommending suitable products and systems. The role involves coordinating with internal engineering, procurement, and service teams to ensure timely project execution and after-sales support. The Project Sales Engineer will also track market trends, maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports, and contribute to achieving regional sales and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge in electromechanical systems, fluid engineering, and pumping solutions, preferably including pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment.
- Experience in project-based sales, including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and order finalization.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Competence in preparing technical documentation, cost estimates, and basic project planning or scheduling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to conduct site visits, understand on-ground requirements, and translate them into suitable technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic CRM or sales reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines and targets.
- Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, or building services projects is an advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
