Job Title: Audio Visual & Lighting Control Programmer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual and Lighting Control Programmer to design, program, commission, and support integrated AV and lighting automation systems. The role involves hands-on programming of KNX, Rako, and related automation platforms, basic network setup for automation systems, and providing technical support and training to dealers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
System Programming & Commissioning
- Program, configure, and commission KNX, Rako, Lutron and other lighting control systems
- Develop logic, scenes, and automation workflows for residential and commercial projects
- Program AV control systems and integrate with lighting, HVAC, shading, Media and other subsystems
- Perform on-site and remote system commissioning and troubleshooting
Networking & System Integration
- Configure basic network infrastructure for automation systems (IP addressing, routers, switches, VLAN basics)
- Integrate AV, lighting, and control systems over IP-based networks
- Diagnose and resolve network-related automation issues
Technical Support & Dealer Assistance
- Provide technical support to dealers and system integrators via phone, email, and remote access
- Assist dealers with system design, programming guidance, and fault resolution
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and commissioning support for partners
- Create and maintain basic technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and programming guides
Testing & Documentation
- Test systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with design specifications
- Prepare project documentation including programming backups, network layouts, and as-built drawings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in KNX, Rako Lutron and other lighting programming
- Experience with AV control systems and automation platforms
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches, DHCP, VLAN fundamentals)
- Ability to troubleshoot integrated AV, lighting, and control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills for dealer and customer interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- KNX Certification (Partner / Advanced / Tutor level is a plus)
- Experience with additional automation platforms and Certification(ELAN, Crestron, Control4, Savant, etc.)
- Familiarity with audio distribution, video distribution, and home automation ecosystems.
- Experience providing technical support or training to dealers.
Candidate profile:
Ø Graduate in Electronics / Electricals
Experience Range:
Experience of min. 1 to 10 years in a reputed audio-visual integration company. Travelling at different sites will be required. ( Fresher can also apply)
