Job Summary;-
The ERP Data Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining ERP master data to ensure data accuracy, consistency, across all manufacturing functions. The role supports production, procurement, inventory, sales, finance, and quality departments by generating reports, improving ERP processes, and providing data-driven insights for operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update ERP master data, including Items, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Routings, Vendors, Customers, Work Centers, Machines, and Employee records.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the ERP system.
- Analyze ERP data to identify trends, errors, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Support Production Planning and Control (PPC) through data validation and production performance reporting.
- Monitor inventory transactions, stock accuracy, material movement, and warehouse data.
- Prepare reports on production efficiency, machine utilization, rejection, downtime, and overall equipment performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance teams to resolve ERP data issues.
- Perform ERP data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and periodic audits.
- Assist in ERP implementation, module enhancements, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ERP data management.
- Train end users on ERP data entry standards and best practices.
- Monitor data security, user access, and compliance with company policies.
- Recommend automation and process improvements to enhance ERP efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Commerce, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:-
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP data management or ERP analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP modules such as Production, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Finance, and Quality is preferred.
