Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled, patient-focused Physiotherapist to join our online physiotherapy hub. The role involves providing professional physiotherapy assessment, rehabilitation guidance, exercise prescription, patient education, and continuous follow-up through digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should be confident in clinical reasoning, exercise-based rehabilitation, patient communication, and delivering structured physiotherapy care remotely.
Key Responsibilities
1. Online Patient Assessment
- Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments through video consultation.
- Obtain relevant history and understand the patient’s functional limitations.
- Perform appropriate online functional and movement assessments.
- Identify red flags and determine when in-person medical/physiotherapy evaluation is required.
- Develop clinically appropriate rehabilitation goals based on individual patient needs.
2. Rehabilitation Planning & Exercise Prescription
- Design structured, evidence-informed rehabilitation programs.
- Prescribe and demonstrate appropriate therapeutic exercises.
- Modify exercise programs according to patient progress, symptoms, and functional goals.
- Monitor exercise technique and adherence through online follow-ups.
- Provide progression and regression of exercises when required.
3. Patient Follow-up & Monitoring
- Conduct scheduled online follow-up consultations.
- Monitor patient progress and functional outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication regarding exercise adherence and difficulties.
- Update rehabilitation plans based on clinical progress.
- Identify barriers to recovery and provide appropriate guidance.
4. Patient Education
- Explain the patient’s condition, rehabilitation process, expected recovery, and precautions in simple language.
- Educate patients about exercise adherence, activity modification, injury prevention, and self-management.
- Build patient confidence and encourage active participation in rehabilitation.
5. Documentation & Clinical Records
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient assessment and treatment records.
- Document consultations, exercise prescriptions, progress, and follow-up plans.
- Follow the organisation’s clinical documentation and communication protocols.
6. Digital Physiotherapy Delivery
- Conduct professional video consultations using online platforms.
- Use digital tools effectively for exercise demonstrations, patient education, communication, and follow-up.
- Support the development and delivery of online rehabilitation programs and educational content when required.
7. Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with senior physiotherapists and the clinical team when required.
- Discuss complex cases and seek appropriate clinical guidance.
- Follow established clinical protocols and rehabilitation pathways.
- Contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the online physiotherapy service.

- Postnatal Physiotherapy, including:
- Postpartum musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Pelvic floor rehabilitation
- Core and abdominal muscle rehabilitation
- Diastasis recti assessment and rehabilitation
- Post-C-section rehabilitation
- Postpartum back, pelvic and hip pain management
- Postural rehabilitation
- Safe return to exercise and daily activities after childbirth
- Functional strengthening and mobility training
- Patient education regarding activity progression and recovery
Required Skills & Qualities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Valid professional registration/licence as applicable.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Good understanding of exercise-based rehabilitation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable conducting consultations through video calls.
- Ability to explain clinical concepts clearly to patients.
- Good documentation and organisational skills.
- Patient-centred and professional approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to digital physiotherapy practices.
Added Advantage
- Experience in online/tele-rehabilitation.
- Experience managing ACL, meniscus, sports, or orthopaedic rehabilitation.
- Certification or additional training in sports/orthopaedic physiotherapy.
- Experience creating exercise videos or patient education content.
- Familiarity with digital patient management systems and online communication platforms.
