Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Trainee / Junior Project Manager to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing construction estimating projects, coordinate with clients and internal teams, maintain project documentation, and ensure smooth execution of project deliverables. This role is ideal for candidates with a Civil Engineering background who are eager to build a career in project management and construction estimating.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update project estimates based on changing project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and project documentation.
- Track and process change orders while maintaining project records.
- Create and revise purchase orders as per project and procurement requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project communications, revisions, and approvals.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Support senior project managers in daily project coordination and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0–3 years of experience in Construction Estimating or Project Coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, workflows, and project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid (QB) software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
