Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Online UPS Systems, Servo Voltage Stabilizers, Isolation Transformers, Battery Banks, and other power conditioning equipment. The role involves field service, customer support, preventive maintenance, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning
- Install, commission, and test UPS systems, Servo Stabilizers, Isolation Transformers, Battery Banks, and related equipment.
- Ensure proper system configuration and successful commissioning at customer sites.
Breakdown & Troubleshooting
- Attend customer breakdown calls promptly.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and carry out repairs.
- Restore equipment within the committed service timeline.
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits as per the service plan.
- Inspect equipment health and recommend preventive actions.
Repair & Technical Support
- Repair UPS systems, PCBs, battery banks, and associated equipment.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Service Documentation
- Prepare and submit service reports after every visit.
- Record spare parts used, work performed, and customer acknowledgements.
Spare Parts Handling
- Ensure proper utilization and accountability of spare parts issued.
- Return unused materials and defective parts as per company procedures.
Customer Support
- Explain the issue, solution, and recommendations to customers.
- Maintain professional behavior and ensure customer satisfaction during every visit.
Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator, Store, Purchase, and Accounts teams for spare parts, repairs, and service scheduling.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety standards and company SOPs while performing service activities.
- Handle company tools, testing instruments, and customer equipment responsibly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in UPS, Servo Stabilizers, Inverters, Battery Banks, or Industrial Power Solutions.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Online UPS Systems and Servo Voltage Stabilizers.
- Electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Reading electrical diagrams and wiring.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Field duties as per service requirements)
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in companies dealing with UPS Systems, Servo Stabilizers, Power Electronics, Industrial Electrical Equipment, or Battery Solutions will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
