Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the Department of Management.
- Lead the department as a Professor and undertake teaching responsibilities at UG/PG levels.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and other academic sessions as per the university curriculum.
- Develop and review course content, lesson plans, teaching materials, and academic plans.
- Supervise and guide students in dissertations, research projects, internships, and other academic activities.
- Mentor and guide faculty members in teaching, research, publications, and professional development.
- Promote high-quality research, publications in reputed journals, funded research projects, consultancy, and academic collaborations.
- Develop industry-academia linkages and facilitate internships, placements, guest lectures, workshops, and corporate interactions.
- Coordinate departmental academic planning, faculty workload, timetable, examinations, assessments, and student mentoring.
- Lead curriculum development and recommend improvements in academic programmes in accordance with university and applicable regulatory standards.
- Organize seminars, conferences, FDPs, workshops, guest lectures, and other academic events.
- Monitor the academic performance and overall development of students and faculty members.
- Coordinate departmental documentation, accreditation, NAAC and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure effective implementation of university policies, academic regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings and maintain proper academic and administrative records.
- Represent the department in university-level academic and administrative committees.
- Perform other academic, research, and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University authorities.
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Management / Business Administration / Commerce or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Master’s Degree in Management / Business Administration / Commerce or relevant discipline with a strong academic record.
- Candidates should have a strong academic and research profile with publications in reputed journals.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant Professor-level teaching and academic leadership experience.
Experience & Skills:
- Relevant teaching and academic experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated research profile with quality publications.
- Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of academic administration, curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to build industry and academic collaborations.
Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
