Manages daily plant operations, ensuring facilities, logistics, and staff support function efficiently. The role bridges plant floor operations and corporate HR, handling vendor management, employee transport, gate passes, Canteen & Labour Quarters Management, and procurement related to HR & Admin.
Core Responsibilities
- Facility & Infrastructure Management: Oversee plant maintenance, housekeeping, security, and safety protocols. Ensure canteen services, power backups, and machinery upkeep align with operational needs.
- Logistics & Material Coordination: Manage the tracking of in/out inventory, dispatch registers, and gate passes for materials. Supervise staff and worker transportation, including bus/cab scheduling.
- HR & Compliance Administration: Assist with employee onboarding, attendance tracking, and leave management. Ensure all statutory compliances (e.g., ESI, PF, factory labor laws) are up to date.
- Vendor & Purchase Management: Negotiate contracts and procure office stationery, factory consumables, and safety equipment. Track invoices, petty cash, and manage expense reports.
Key Skills Required
- Communication: Ability to bridge communication between factory operators, corporate staff, and upper management.
- Organizational: Strong capability in multi-tasking, maintaining strict filing systems, and coordinating large team movements.
- Technical: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic ERP
- Education: Graduate degree; MBA or PG Diploma in HR, Operations, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of administrative experience, ideally within a factory or heavy manufacturing environment
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
