Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading all maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability, plant reliability, and safe operations. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance while supporting production targets, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. KELD manufactures Industrial Dampers and Non-Metallic Expansion Joints for power, cement, steel, and process industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical, electrical, utility, and facility maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimize production downtime.
- Plan annual shutdown maintenance and execute equipment overhauls.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failures.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and EHS departments.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, equipment history, and audit documentation.
- Drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage maintenance contractors and OEM service providers.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance engineers and technicians.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Electrical Engineering candidates with relevant experience may also apply.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing plant maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, pressure equipment, industrial dampers, expansion joints, or similar industries is preferred.

Salary
- ₹50K–60K Gross PM (Depending on experience and qualifications)
