Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using Microsoft Excel to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Generate actionable insights from sales and business data to support management decisions.
- Create Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Index-Match, Conditional Formatting, Power Query, and advanced Excel formulas.
- Track and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and business KPIs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Management teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Automate repetitive reports and improve reporting efficiency wherever possible.
- Present findings through reports, charts, and visual dashboards.
- Ensure timely submission of reports with high accuracy.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- INDEX-MATCH
- IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS and other advanced formulas
- Conditional Formatting
- Power Query
- Data Cleaning & Validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, MIS Executive, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Prior experience in Sales (2–5 years) will be an added advantage, especially in analyzing sales performance and business metrics.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
