Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our pharmaceutical business in Chennai and surrounding regions. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor networks, developing key customer relationships, and leading a team of Medical Representatives to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Manage and guide Medical Representatives to maximize field productivity and performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to increase market share and product penetration.
- Conduct regular field visits with team members for coaching and performance improvement.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, expenses, and market intelligence.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and promotional effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (B.Pharm, B.Sc., MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales.
- Prior experience in handling a sales team will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Chennai pharmaceutical market.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
