Role: Ensure the entire food facility follows FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000 & GMP hygiene standards. You’re the main person responsible for keeping product safe, facility clean, and audit-ready 24/7.
Reports to: QA Manager / Plant Manager / Production Head
Team: Housekeeping staff, Pest control vendors, Sanitation workers
1) Daily Plant HygieneMorning + night sanitation rounds of production, packing, storage, toilets, canteen Check CIP/SIP cleaning records, verify chemical concentration Swab test for ATP/microbial – maintain <10 RLU on food contact surfaces
2) Personnel HygieneCheck staff uniform, gloves, hairnet, mask, nail cut, wound cover before shift Conduct hand wash training + surprise checks Maintain medical fitness + health card records for all food handlers
3) DocumentationUpdate FSSAI FoSCoS records daily – cleaning, pest, water test logs Maintain HACCP CCP checklists, deviation reports Prepare for FSSAI, customer, ISO audits. Zero NC target
4) Pest ControlCoordinate with PCI vendor weekly Maintain fly catcher, rodent bait map. Check & record daily No live pest tolerance – immediate CAPA if found
5) Training Monthly hygiene induction for new staff in Tamil Toolbox talks on allergen control, glass policy, waste disposal Track training effectiveness via test scores
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
