Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with strong hands-on knowledge of gear boxes, air compressors, and hydraulic systems. The candidate should also have working knowledge of lathe machines and CNC machines. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, alignment, maintenance, and overhauling of gear boxes, including inspection of bearings, seals, shafts, and lubrication systems.
- Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air compressors (reciprocating/screw), including pneumatic systems and accessories.
- Maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and power packs.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment as per maintenance schedules.
- Operate and carry out basic maintenance of lathe machines (turning, facing, threading, and basic machining operations).
- Support maintenance and minor troubleshooting of CNC machines, including mechanical assemblies, tooling, alignment, and coordination with electrical/CNC teams.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and fitting practices.
- In-depth understanding of gear boxes, air compressors, and hydraulic systems.
- Practical knowledge of lathe machines and basic machining operations.
- Working knowledge of CNC machines (mechanical aspects).
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter Trade, or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 5–12 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter in manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial plants.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
