State Cluster Lead - Construction Management

Join JLL as a State Cluster Lead within our Construction Management team, where you'll drive innovative project success through strategic leadership. What your day-to-day will look like:
Strategy and Business Leadership: Execute PDS leadership's strategic initiatives, driving growth and innovation aligned with JLL's objectives in the construction management space. Expanding the existing CM business space into new geographies and sectors
P&L Management: Manage the complete business cycle from proposal to project completion, ensuring efficient operations, timely billing and maintain target AR, and optimal resource allocation for maximum target CI. Prepare yearly business growth plan with agreed KPIs with state/ regional lead
Team Structure and Capability Management: Build and maintain a balanced team that meets business and operational requirements, with proactive hiring and continuous team optimization and mentoring.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary escalation point of contact for key clients, leading stakeholder meetings and managing project changes to maintain high client satisfaction. Also work closely with internal central teams like procurement and costing, legal , Insurance, taxation teams
Develop and nurture new supplier base for project deliveries along with procurement team
Operational Excellence: Identify risks and rewards, maintain health and safety standards, and implement continuous improvements through best practices and technology integration.
Corporate Governance and Risk Management: Work with Commercial Governance and Legal teams on bids, ensuring adherence to corporate governance and compliance standards.
Financial Stewardship: Develop strategic budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement initiatives to enhance Productivity.
People Management and Development: work closely with operations and delivery team for talent development, recruitment, and retention strategies, creating an innovative and balanced workplace in accordance with JLL behaviors as well as values.
Project Oversight and Delivery: Guide construction teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
Business Development: Nurture client relationships and strengthen JLL's market presence through strategic marketing and business acquisition.
OneJLL Collaboration: Encourage cross-functional collaboration to deliver comprehensive solutions and enhance client value.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Minimum 15 years of construction management experience, with emphasis on leadership roles
Proven track record managing complex construction projects and diverse teams
Strong business acumen and P&L management experience
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and strategic growth initiatives
Thorough understanding of construction regulatory requirements and industry standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline
Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or similar credentials
Experience with construction management software and digital tools
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and emerging industry trends
Experience leading multi-state or large-scale construction projects
Passion for fostering an inclusive and innovative team culture
