Job Purpose:
To manage the day-to-day functioning of the Operation Theater, ensuring smooth surgical procedures, patient safety, infection control, and proper utilization of OT resources.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily OT operations, scheduling, and surgical procedures.

Ensure OT cleanliness, sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.

Coordinate with ophthalmologists, anesthetists, nurses, and OT technicians.

Maintain OT equipment, instruments, consumables, and emergency stock.

Ensure proper preparation of patients and OT before every surgery.

Maintain OT records, checklists, and procedure-related documentation.

Monitor staff performance, duty allocation, and adherence to SOPs.

Report equipment issues, stock shortages, and operational concerns to management.
