We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, application management, and exceptional SQL proficiency. This role is crucial for maintaining data integrity, optimizing data flow, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and procedures to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Manage and monitor the health, performance, and integrity of critical data applications and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and external teams to understand data requirements and deliver insightful reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data quality and governance across various platforms, performing regular audits and reconciliations.
- Troubleshoot data and application issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Document data processes, definitions, and application configurations for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in scheduled application maintenance and deployment windows, which may occasionally occur outside of regular business hours.
The successful candidate must possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or similar role.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including advanced query writing, performance tuning, and understanding of relational database design (SSMS SQL).
- Advanced Data Modeling & Analytics: Proven expertise in building complex data models from scratch using Excel and Google Sheets interchangeably.
- Advanced Toolsets & Features: Deep hands-on experience utilizing Excel’s Power Pivot, unlocking the Developer tab (for macros/VBA), and leveraging advanced native analytics functions.
- Audit & Analytics Software: Proficiency with Teammate Analytics to perform advanced data analysis, audit sampling, and reporting workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end data management, including data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Strong experience in application management, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data-centric software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (especially, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
