About the Company
Ambica Industries is a manufacturing company engaged in chemical and industrial products. We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily production activities at our Domjur and Jangalpur units.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Manage and coordinate production workers and shift activities.
- Monitor production processes, machinery, and material usage.
- Maintain proper production records and daily reports.
- Ensure quality, safety, and production standards are followed.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores, and other departments.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the production area.
- Follow company safety rules and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate/Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/chemical industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of production processes and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to manage workers and handle production-related issues.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
- Candidates from Howrah, Domjur, Jangalpur, Santragachi, and nearby areas will be preferred.
