We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager who has hands-on experience selling IT services and software solutions and is passionate about building long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle, and closing high-value software development projects.
Your responsibilities include:
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, email outreach, and client meetings.
- Sell Custom Software Development, AI Automation Solutions, CRM, ERP, SaaS, Mobile App Development, Website Development, and Digital Transformation services.
- Understand client business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions.
- Conduct requirement gathering meetings with business owners, startups, SMEs, corporate clients, and enterprise customers.
- Prepare professional quotations, commercial proposals, project estimations, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure accurate project understanding before proposal submission.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM.
- Perform regular follow-ups with prospects until conversion.
- Generate repeat business from existing clients.
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs, Directors, Founders, and decision-makers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain complete documentation including quotations, invoices, agreements, purchase orders, payment follow-ups, and client communications.
- Ensure timely collections and coordinate with accounts for invoicing and payment tracking.
- Represent Solverix Technologies during client meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and conferences.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Sales, Software Sales, or Technology Consulting.
- Proven experience selling Custom Software Development, Mobile Apps, CRM, ERP, AI Solutions, SaaS, or Enterprise Software.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent knowledge of Custom Software Development projects.
- Good understanding of AI Automation solutions and business automation concepts.
- Strong knowledge of CRM and ERP solutions.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into commercial proposals.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals, cost estimations, invoices, and commercial documents.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
- Strong follow-up and relationship management abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Go-getter attitude with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build a strong network of business owners, decision-makers, and corporate clients.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
- Strong business acumen with excellent commercial understanding.
