We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Restaurant Captain to supervise daily dining room operations and lead our service team. You will act as the bridge between guests, service staff, and the kitchen, ensuring that every patron receives exceptional, memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome and seat guests warmly, assist with menu selections, and ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Handle and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate junior service staff and stewards. Assign service stations, manage duty shifts, and monitor grooming and service standards.
- Order & Table Management: Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. Oversee table settings and overall dining room hygiene.
- Sales & Upselling: Possess in-depth menu knowledge and proactively recommend dishes, daily specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Billing & Reporting: Assist with the Point of Sale (POS) billing process, handle payment controls, and report daily feedback/sales to the Restaurant Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of total work experience as a Server, Captain, or F&B Supervisor in a reputed hotel, bar, or restaurant.
- Skills: Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and POS systems.
- Personality: Presentable, highly organized, and fluent in English.
