Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Associate with strong expertise in France Accounting processes and core accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience with exposure to French accounting standards, financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities.
The role requires strong domain expertise in accounting and finance operations. Knowledge of the French language will be considered an added advantage but is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end France accounting operations and financial processes.
- Handle journal entries, general ledger activities, and account reconciliations.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within defined timelines.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process and review invoices, payments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams for issue resolution and process improvements.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance guidelines.
- Analyze accounting data and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in France Accounting processes.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting and finance operations experience.
- Good understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reconciliation activities.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- French language proficiency is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Domain expertise in accounting is mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with France accounting exposure will be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience working in Shared Services/BPO Finance Operations environment is preferred.
