Purpose of the job
Purpose of the job –.
Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities: -
1. Should have a good experience in handling payroll and statutory compliances, Compensation.
2. Knowledge of Income Tax declaration and Income Tax Computation.
3. Knowledge of allowance & perks.
4. Should be aware of recent changes in Income tax Act
5. Work with company database programs to process payroll.
6. Report to Head regarding daily activities and issues.
7. Designing CTC Structure as per labor law and maintenance of statutory books.
8. Timely registers – Salary/ Full and Final Payment / Gratuity / TDS / Returns of PF, ESI is forwarded to Accounts and payments made within specified time.
9. Ensure receipt of all supporting documents related to full and final settlements.
10. Timely and accurate filing of various returns, ETDS, Form 16, etc.
11. Resolving any payroll related queries from the employees.
12. Coordinating with the Accounting department in managing all payroll related transactions.
13. Gathering and verifying employee’s necessary bank details.
14. Ensuring that all payroll activities financial reports required for auditing purpose are in place.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MCom, or Inter CA.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or a similar position.
Skills:
1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially with MS -Excel.
2. Proficient with any statutory compliance.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Complete understanding of the payroll practices and processes.
5. Excellent accounting skills.
6. Strong analytical, problem- solving and time management skill.
