About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Sales Manager with experience in the EdTech industry to drive business growth through strategic partnerships and institutional sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with schools, colleges, universities, corporate learning departments, and educational organizations, and achieving revenue targets.
The role requires a strong understanding of the education ecosystem, consultative selling skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure and account management.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities within schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, and corporate learning organizations.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, events, and market research.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for key decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized learning solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with educational institutions and corporate partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and proposal creation to negotiation and deal closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare commercial proposals, contracts, and pricing discussions.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Expansion
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the education sector.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that generate qualified leads.
Account Management & Customer Success
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams for successful implementation and service delivery.
- Monitor client satisfaction and support retention initiatives.
- Manage contract renewals and account growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 3–8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in the EdTech or Education sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Required Skills
- Strong B2B sales and business development expertise.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Experience selling educational products, learning solutions, SaaS platforms, or academic services.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Data-driven approach to sales planning and forecasting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling to schools, colleges, universities, training institutes, or corporate L&D teams.
- Understanding of the K-12, Higher Education, or Professional Learning ecosystem.
- Existing network within Mumbai’s education sector is an advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
