Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities from schools, educational institutions, and transport operators.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations with Principals, Trustees, School Management, Transport Managers, and Administrators.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and field visits.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and commercial quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with school decision-makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights for product improvement.
- Participate in educational exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, and sales activities in CRM.
- Submit weekly sales reports and pipeline updates.
- Track conversion ratios and sales performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, SaaS Sales, EdTech Sales, or School Sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
- Comfortable with field visits and client meetings.
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or Salesforce will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling technology solutions to schools, colleges, educational institutions, or corporates.
- Existing network within the education sector will be highly preferred.
