Qualification: B.Sc/DMLT
Experience: 1 to 3 Years
Salary: 15k to 18k
Location: Chennai
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, and process clinical specimens such as blood, urine, sputum, stool, swabs, and body fluids.
- Culture and sensitivity
- Gram staining
- AFB staining
- Microscopy
- Biochemical identification tests
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and laboratory solutions.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, and analyzers.
- Record and document test results accurately in LIS/manual registers.
- Assist microbiologists in interpretation and reporting.
- Follow infection control, biosafety, and NABL/CAP/ISO guidelines.
- Dispose of biomedical waste as per protocols.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables and reagents.
- Participate in internal and external quality control programs.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
