Job Description – Quality Control Manager
Department: Quality Control (QC)
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Reporting To: Managing Director / Operations Head
Job Summary
The Quality Control Manager ensures all Welding Electrodes and MIG Wires meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable standards through regular inspections, laboratory testing, documentation, corrective actions, and daily quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and approve incoming raw materials.
- Conduct regular in-process quality inspections.
- Perform quality testing of finished Welding Electrodes and MIG Wires.
- Approve products before dispatch.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and testing records.
- Submit daily quality reports to management.
- Investigate quality issues and implement CAPA.
- Support ISO, BIS, RDSO, IRS and customer audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores and Sales.
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems.
- Knowledge of welding consumables and laboratory testing.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
- MS Office and ERP/QMS proficiency.
Preferred Qualification
- B.Sc. or B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related Chemical Science background preferred.
- 3–7 years of QC/QA experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in Welding Electrodes or MIG Wire manufacturing preferred.

- Reduced rejection and rework.
- Zero non-conforming dispatches.
- Daily quality reports submitted on time.
- Reduced customer complaints.
- Successful audit compliance.
Salary CTC: Negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and technical expertise.
