About Reya (Aarvee Reya Craft Private Limited)
Reya ("Rare You") is a silver jewellery D2C brand built for people who want fine jewellery that's personal, not generic. We design and craft everyday silver pieces — designed to be worn often, not saved for special occasions. We're an early-stage, founder-led team building everything from the ground up, and we're looking for a CAD designer to help bring new jewellery designs to life.
Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Convert hand sketches, references, or brief concepts into precise 3D CAD models for silver jewellery (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants)
- Design pieces with correct proportions, wearability, and manufacturability in mind — accounting for casting, stone-setting, and finishing constraints specific to silver
- Prepare CAD files in formats ready for 3D printing/casting (STL and other vendor-required formats)
- Iterate on designs based on founder feedback — adjusting dimensions, weight, stone placement, and finish details
- Coordinate with manufacturing/casting vendors to ensure designs translate correctly from CAD to physical sample
- Maintain a organised design library of past and in-progress CAD files
- Suggest design variations or product-line extensions based on current design trends in jewellery
Skills required:
- Proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software — RhinoGold, JewelCAD, Matrix, or similar (general CAD tools like AutoCAD/SolidWorks alone are not sufficient)
- Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, stone-setting, finishing) is a strong plus
- Portfolio of past CAD designs (jewellery-specific preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to translate rough briefs into precise, wearable designs
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
