Role Summary:
The Shift Incharge will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations during their shift, ensuring timely stock inwarding, systematic replenishment, accurate order picking and fulfillment, and maintaining inventory accuracy, hygiene, and shrinkage control.
They will lead a team of associates and ensure operational excellence aligned with SLAs and safety standards.

Ensure timely GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inwarding of supplier deliveries as per plan.

Verify product quantity, quality, and batch details during inwarding.

Oversee system-based putaway and binning to maintain storage discipline.

Coordinate with procurement / transport for delays, short receipts, or damages.

Plan and execute daily replenishment from back storage to pick locations based on sales trends.

Maintain inventory accuracy and bin discipline in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Conduct cycle counts and daily audits to ensure stock sanity.

Monitor expiry, damages, and pilferage, ensuring timely reporting and control.

Supervise order-wise picking, segregation, and dispatch as per route/beat plan.

Ensure TAT adherence (Turnaround Time) and 100% order accuracy.

Track and resolve picking discrepancies or missing items proactively.

Coordinate with delivery and transport teams for smooth dispatch execution.

Manage a team of pickers, loaders, and housekeeping staff during the shift.

Ensure shift productivity KPIs are achieved (orders/hour, accuracy %, shrinkage %).

Maintain attendance, shift allocation, and discipline on the floor.

Conduct on-floor training for process adherence and safety.

Drive 5S, FIFO/FEFO, and hygiene standards across all zones.

Ensure all SOPs are followed, including scanning, tagging, and segregation norms.

Monitor equipment usage, housekeeping, and safety protocols on shift.

Support audit readiness — internal, external, and customer-driven.

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.

Experience: 2–5 years in warehouse or dark store operations (preferably in B2B / FMCG / Q-commerce).

Technical: Working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems, Excel, and barcode scanners.

Soft Skills: Leadership, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication.

Shift Flexibility: Must be comfortable with rotational or night shifts.
