Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Head – Electrical Design with strong Solar Design expertise to lead electrical engineering activities for utility-scale solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of solar PV plants, SLDs, layouts, switchyards, transmission lines, and grid connectivity.
- Perform cable sizing, earthing calculations, equipment selection, and electrical studies.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS standards, CEIG, DISCOM, and grid regulations.
- Support tendering, authority approvals, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, quality, and site teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 12–15 years of experience in solar electrical design (mandatory).
- Expertise in HV/LV systems, switchyards, transmission lines, and solar plant design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and SketchUp (ETAP preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
