Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven Architect with a strong specialization in exterior design and high-end 3D rendering. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural conceptualization and photorealistic visualization. You will be responsible for leading the design development of exterior building envelopes, facades, and landscapes, ensuring that conceptual visions are translated into stunning, technically accurate visual representations and execution drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Exterior Design & Architecture: Lead the architectural design process for external building structures, envelopes, and facades from concept through detailed design.
- High-End 3D Rendering: Create photorealistic, high-quality exterior 3D renderings, walkthroughs, and fly-throughs that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
- Project Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, municipal drawings, and material specifications for construction.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Present design concepts and 3D visualizations directly to clients, incorporating feedback seamlessly into design iterations.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Guide junior architects and visualizers, ensuring design continuity, quality assurance, and adherence to project timelines.
- Material & Site Coordination: Select exterior materials, finishes, and lighting systems. Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure design compliance during execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid experience in an architectural firm, with a proven portfolio highlighting exceptional exterior designs and renderings.
- Software Expertise:
- Architectural Modeling: AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- 3D Rendering: 3ds Max + V-Ray/Corona, Lumion, Twinmotion, or Blender.
- Post-Production: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Soft Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a keen eye for lighting, composition, and realistic texturing.
