Operations Manager – Restaurant
Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and an excellent guest experience while achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily restaurant operations.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor staff performance and coordinate across service, kitchen, and bar teams.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
- Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company SOPs.
- Manage inventory, stock control, and procurement.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Plan staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower.
- Monitor operational costs and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant.
- Prepare reports and update management on performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Hotel Management qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in restaurant operations, with managerial experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, billing, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in multi-cuisine or premium dining restaurants.
- Strong financial and operational understanding.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
