Position Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts Executive with a background in the travel industry to manage daily accounting activities and support financial operations using Winyatra software. The ideal candidate must be from a commerce background, possess 2–3 years of accounting experience in a travel company, and have the capability to perform collection calls to clients. Strong attention to detail, a basic understanding of travel-related financial processes, and effective communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
· Perform daily data entry and accounting transactions in Winyatra software.
· Manage accounts receivable and follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
· Handle accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
· Assist in preparing basic financial reports as required.
· Communicate with clients regarding payments and resolve discrepancies.
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue records.
· Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles and company policies.
Qualifications:
· Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent); M.Com preferred.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an accounts role within the travel industry.
· Familiarity with Winyatra or other travel industry accounting software is a must.
· Strong communication skills for collection calls and client coordination.
· Working knowledge of MS Excel and general accounting practices.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
