Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Technical Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming knowledge in Java and/or C and a genuine interest in training, mentoring, and developing technical skills in learners.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging technical training sessions, developing training materials, conducting practical coding sessions, and helping learners build strong programming fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions on Java and/or C programming.
- Explain programming concepts clearly using practical examples and hands-on exercises.
- Conduct coding exercises, assignments, assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare and update training materials, presentations, coding exercises, and learning resources.
- Mentor learners and provide constructive feedback on their technical progress.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Conduct practical programming sessions and encourage problem-solving skills.
- Stay updated with current programming practices, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with the technical and training teams to continuously improve the learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Java or C programming; knowledge of both is preferred.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals such as:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Control structures, functions, arrays, and pointers where applicable
- Exception handling and debugging
- Basic database concepts are an added advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
