Job Title: Director of Engineering

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Director of Engineering who can lead architecture, build scalable systems, and manage high-performing engineering teams. This role is not purely managerial — candidates are expected to actively contribute to coding, system design, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end system architecture across frontend, backend, cloud, and AI platforms
- Write production-grade code and build scalable backend services & APIs
- Design high-performance systems including real-time pipelines and AI/ML integrations
- Hire, mentor, and manage engineering teams
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and development processes
- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams for solution delivery
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in full-stack development (React/Next.js, Node.js/Python)
- Expertise in system design, scalable architecture, and cloud (AWS)
- Hands-on experience with APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in AI/ML, Computer Vision, or Generative AI
- Knowledge of WebGL, Three.js, or 3D rendering
- Startup experience or product-based environment
