Malabar Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition to lead and execute end-to-end recruitment activities for retail operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in core talent acquisition, particularly within the retail industry, and possess excellent stakeholder management and sourcing capabilities.
Role & responsibilities :
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to onboarding) for critical and mid-level retail roles.
- Drive hiring for retail positions such as Sales Executives, Store Managers, Cluster Managers, and support roles.
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, referrals, walk-ins, and campus hiring.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for ongoing and future requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver timely closures.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Executives/Recruiters.
- Allocate hiring requisitions and monitor individual/team performance against KPIs and hiring targets.
- Track recruitment metrics and generate reports on time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and hiring effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and recruitment best practices.
- Support employer branding initiatives and participate in hiring events, job fairs, and retail hiring campaigns.
Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in core Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
- Masters Degree (MBA/PGDM in HR or related field) is preferred .
- Mandatory experience in retail hiring (preferably in large retail chains, FMCG retail, jewelry, or lifestyle sectors).
- Proven experience in team handling along with direct hiring responsibility.
- Strong understanding of retail recruitment lifecycle and bulk hiring.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume hiring within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ATS tools and job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Language Requirements:
Candidates must be proficient in Kannada( Mandatory) + English
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
