Job Title: Field Sales Officer – Home Textiles (B2B)
Sector: Home Textiles (Towels & Bed Linens) Location: Mumbai (Field-based) We are a growing name in the premium home textile industry, specializing in high-quality towels and bedsheets. We are looking for an aggressive and result-oriented Field Sales Officer to penetrate the Mumbai retail market and establish our brand in prominent retail outlets. Key Responsibilities Direct Field Sales: Travel across Mumbai to visit retail stores, home decor shops, and textile wholesalers. Product Presentation: Showcase our latest collections of bedsheets and towels, highlighting fabric quality, GSM, and thread counts using physical samples. Deal Management: Generate quotations, negotiate pricing within company margins, and close sales orders effectively. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the timely dispatch and delivery of goods to your clients. Account Receivables: Take full responsibility for the collection of payments as per agreed credit terms. Network Building: Focus on "Relationship Selling" to ensure retailers choose our brand for the long term. Performance Bonus: Extra monthly/quarterly bonuses for exceeding sales targets. Candidate Requirements Experience: 1–3 years in field sales (experience in textiles, garments, or FMCG preferred). Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to explain product technicalities (e.g., fabric feel, durability). Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of Mumbai’s retail hubs (e.g., Crawford Market, Dadar TT, Mangaldas Market, and suburban retail clusters). Language: Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati to build rapport with local business owners.
